SAFETY PACK INCLUDES-
- Adaptive cruise control, in heavy traffic, the radar-based Adaptive Cruise Control helps you keep a distance from the vehicle in front of you by controlling the accelerator and all available brakes. The stop and go function ensure it works all the way down to a full stop – just press the accelerator or the resume button to get going again. This makes the Adaptive Cruise Control a helpful function in busy traffic and traffic jams.
- Lane Keep Warning, when activated, Lane Changing Support uses radar technology to scan your passenger side for other road users. If you use your blinker and the system detects that it’s not clear to change lanes, you’re alerted with a buzzer and a flashing icon next to the passenger mirror.
- Forward Collision Warning, warns you audible if you are moving to close to the vehicle in front without braking
- Lane Change Support, a visual aid to notify you if there is a vehicle travelling on your left side once you have indicated
- DAS (Driver Alert System) inattention, distraction and fatigue can be fatal for a long-haul truck driver; however, Volvo Trucks' Driver Alert Support helps drivers concentrate and keep their eyes on the road. An extension of Volvo's Lane Keeping Support, the system monitors driver behavior and steering wheel movements. If the truck begins to sway or drift, a warning system alerts the driver, and suggests they take a break.
